BOC Canoe, Kayak Consignment Sale/Swap

Mark your calendars for this annual SPRING fundraising and fun event – coming up on Saturday, May 9^th, the day before our first paddle of the season on Mother’s Day. (Location: to be announced.) We create enough money from these sales to completely underwrite the summer paddling season.

Interested in picking up a used canoe or kayak? Or selling/trading a boat you don’t need/want? This is the time and place to do it, and help out the BOC at the same time.  

Boats may be dropped off on Friday, May 8^th from 5 to 7pm; or on Saturday morning from 9 to 11:30am (or by appointment). Sale/Swap will be from NOON to 2pm on Saturday. Best time to be there is NOON; they go fast! 

Boat owners establish their own asking price. BOC will retain a small portion of the sale price to fund the paddling program and pay sales tax. Boat swaps are encouraged and donations of unneeded boats will be accepted. Sale/Swap is limited to all types of canoes, kayaks, rowboats and small sailboats. Sorry, no motorboats or motors.
